Our team's collective years of experience has allowed us to become an expert in the affordable housing industry – from rendering/concepting to navigating funding and tax credit applications, to closing on publicly-funded contracts, mobilization, project management, and successful completion. Every step of the way, our talented people will help get your project over the finish line while maintaining cost and your desired construction timeline. We currently have hundreds of units of affordable housing under construction. Similarly, our principals and team members have been involved in the completion of thousands of units of affordable housing during their time at other companies prior to joining TCON Construction. Renovations

Our team has an impressive background of experience completing renovation projects – from small tenant improvements to large, complex multifamily renovations. From interior unit upgrades to exterior modernization and site improvements, our team knows what goes into updating small to large renovation projects to extend its life, livability, ease of use, and safety. With our team’s previous experience renovating thousands of units of housing and many tenant improvements and community space renovations while at different companies, we are well-versed in these types of projects. 

Commercial

Our principals and team members have years of experience building commercial projects while at prior companies. This experience includes retail, mixed-use, tenant improvements, and institutional/public facilities. Our team regularly delivers tenant improvements, large-scale renovations, and ground-up construction projects while maintaining tight schedules and budgets. We also manage complex demolition and redevelopment efforts, coordinating closely with owners, architects, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure safe and efficient site operations. From complex building renovations to new community, offices, and institutional spaces, we prioritize quality craftsmanship, clear communication, and proactive problem-solving to successfully meet the needs of clients, tenants, and project stakeholders.

Market-Rate

With decades of collective experience delivering market-rate projects, our team understands how to balance quality, schedule, and cost while meeting the expectations of the Owner and end users. From preconstruction through final turnover, we work closely with Owners, Architects, Engineers, and Consultants to refine budgets, identify value engineering opportunities, and mitigate risks before they impact the schedule. During construction, our focus is on proactive coordination, disciplined project management, and maintaining strong relationships with subcontractors to keep work moving efficiently. Market-rate developments often require a high level of finish and attention to design details, so we prioritize thorough planning, quality control, and transparent communication to ensure the final product meets the developers’ vision, while remaining financially viable.

Senior Living

We bring our team's extensive multifamily construction experience to specialized senior living, ensuring every project is tailored to the unique needs of aging residents. Our team understands the importance of creating safe, accessible, and comfortable environments that promote independence and well-being. From independent living communities to assisted living, we prioritize design elements that support accessibility, mobility, safety, and social engagement.
