This project features the construction of 144 units of 4% tax credit affordable housing, including 8 ADA units and 3 units for hearing/visual disabilities. This project is pivotal to the Las Cruces community as it provides much-needed affordable housing units. Additionally, it will create 150 local employment opportunities including those for minority, apprenticeship, and Section 3 firms for the duration of the 15-month long project and 4 permanent jobs on site, as well as countless manufacturing jobs, adding to the local revenue for Las Cruces. Once complete, the complex will provide a mix of one, two, and three-bedroom units to cater to in-need individuals and families making up to 60% AMI in the community.
