A staple to the Las Cruces community, this 9% tax credit project featured the adaptive reuse of 20 units into 40 efficiency affordable units targeted to homeless and chronically-ill people at or below 30% AMI. The units serve as permanent supportive housing for formerly homeless individuals. Hundreds of jobs were created during the rehabilitation of this property, plus a few permanent ones for the wrap-around services.
